BPFC brings professional folk and acoustic artists to North London to share their work with a room full of music-lovers. We pride ourselves in paying professional artists a professional fee, but there’s more to a folk club than this…

Like most folk clubs, we also have floor-spots - open to all - to perform as part of the evening. For many years we've also offered extended spots which allow local and developing acts to showcase more of their music and build performance skills in a supportive environment.

In Autumn 2025, we are able to offer limited paid feature spots (20 minutes) and showcase spots (30 minutes). Feature spots will be paid at £30 (plus a drink); Showcase spots will be paid at £50 (plus a drink). 

IMPORTANT: These paid spots are aimed at performers aged under 30 who have not previously performed a feature/ showcase spot at BPFC.  

 Spots will be available as follows, at our regular club nights (second Thursdays at Mum's Bistro, Bowes Park - FREE - All welcome).  

September: 2 x feature spots available  

October: 1 x feature spot available  

November: 1 x feature spot available  

December: 2 x showcase spot available  

If you like the idea of sharing your music with a supportive, listening audience, please contact BPFC with some information about your act, a link to your music, and your preferred date(s).

Please note: our regular floorspots (1 or 2 songs) are always open to all - so if you are unsuccessful in securing a paid slot, or if you just want to try out BPFC, you are welcome to come along and do a floorspot. We keep 50% of floorspots for walk-ups (come early), or you can message us in advance if you'd like to try to reserve one.
