1 Feb 8.30pm - Amy Belle @ Springfield Tavern

With her fresh and inspiring melodies and an inimitable voice, this songwriter charms fans worldwide with her talent and charisma, which have taken her from busking in the streets of Glasgow to duetting with Rod Stewart at the Royal Albert Hall. Do not miss!

4 Feb 8pm – The Grand Old Echo @ Hillbilly Social

Folk, Bluegrass and an Essex accent. An upbeat London-based folk trio comprising Alex from Billericay, Hong Kongese multi-instrumentalist Jon and Jenni from Hamburg on strings.

13 Feb 7.45pm – Yiddiomatikh @ Mum’s Bistro (BPFC)

Paul Kendler and Ailsa Mainwaring are firm favourites who always deliver a night of uproarious music and laughter, with a diverse songbook and real musicianship to boot; from Dutch sea shanties, to Northumbrian lullabies, to Yiddish ballads.

Floor spots available for the first half of the evening.

27 Feb 1.30pm - Open Rehearsal with New River Shanty Crew @ Shaftesbury Hall (all welcome)

Welcoming and energetic folk and shanty singing group - for all levels of experience. 

28 Feb 7pm – Exploring Songwriting with Phil Cooper @ All Good Bookshop

Have you ever wondered how a song is born? There’s a magic to it that remains mysterious even to the most experienced songwriter. In “Exploring Songwriting”, singer-songwriter Phil Cooper (Lost Trades) presents an evening of live music and spoken word, exploring the art of songwriting.

An effortless blend of traditional material with contemporary sounds - come for a night of toe-tapping tunes and songs of love, death, dancing and dressing up
